Turkey Noodle Soup

Makes: 6 servings Active Time: 15 minutes Total Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup carrots, chopped
  • ½ cup celery, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Onion Seasoning
  • 1½ pounds boneless turkey breast, pre-cooked, chopped
  • 8 cups reduced sodium chicken broth
  • 1 (18 ounce) jar homestyle turkey gravy
  • 1 (12 ounce) package frozen homestyle egg noodles
  • 1 tablespoon Rustic Herb Seasoning

Directions

  1. In large saucepan or Dutch oven, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add carrots, celery and Onion Onion™  Seasoning. Sauté 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add turkey and continue sautéing 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in broth, gravy, noodles and Rustic Herb Seasoning. Bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and simmer 25 – 30 minutes, or until desired tenderness of noodles and veggies.
  • Makes 6 servings.
  • Make Ahead & Freeze: Place step 1 ingredients in a quart freezer bag. Place turkey in a quart freezer bag. Place gravy, noodles and Rustic Herb Seasoning in a gallon freezer bag. Place all bags in a gallon freezer bag. Seal well, label and freeze. Thaw completely. Continue with step 1.
