Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 2 tablespoons Onion Seasoning
- 5 cups hot water
- 1 package Creamy Wild Rice Soup Mix
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons Classic Ranch Mix
Directions
- In large saucepan or Dutch oven, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken, carrots and Onion Onion™  Seasoning. Sauté 5-7 minutes.
- Whisk in hot water and Creamy Wild Rice Soup Mix. Bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in cream and Classic Ranch Mix. Continue simmering 15 minutes.
- Makes 6 servings.
- Make Ahead & Freeze: Place step 1 ingredients in a quart freezer bag. Place step 3 ingredients in a quart freezer bag. Place both bags and unopened Creamy Wild Rice Soup Mix package in a gallon freezer bag. Seal well, label and freeze. Thaw completely. Continue with step 1.
